Shanghai People's Square Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street Treasury Hotel ★★★★
"It is truly close to the famous nanjing road and walkable distance from the bund. And metro station is about 300m lines are also convenient . Hotel room was simple and clean. But I dont think they changed bed sheets in our stay."
Radisson Collection Hyland Shanghai ★★★★
"The hotel is well-located, right in the middle of the pedestrian street. We stayed in a standard room, but after our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, we extended our stay for another day and were moved to an upgraded room. The room was fantastic, we were probably lucky. It had two rooms: a living room with a sofa and a magnificent view of the pedestrian street. Besides a tea set, there was also a coffee machine. There was also a large, separate bathroom. It's an ideal option for a family with a child. The breakfasts are very good, with options for both children and adults. The only thing I didn't notice was an omelet station; there were fried eggs and scrambled eggs instead. But you won't go hungry; a delicious and hearty breakfast is guaranteed."

Shanghai Yunzhi Homestay
"It was a great living experience. The boss and his wife were very nice. As long as the boss didn't make any arrangements, they would help take us to the zoo, Disneyland, and the subway station. The boss' wife also helped play with the children. Toys were prepared for the children on the first floor, and the swings were the children's favorite. The sanitation was also very clean, the bathroom smelled good, and there was a piped machine in the kitchen on the first floor, which was very convenient for making milk for the children and drinking water for themselves. The children didn't want to leave, and said they wanted to go back to their grandparents' house."

Le Meridien Shanghai Sheshan
"We came back after more than half a year, and it's become Le Méridien again, but that didn't stop the kids from loving it. Our butler, Bob, is still super capable; he saw my two kids had been waiting a long time and personally went to expedite things, getting us checked in right away. We've stayed at the Prime Minister's Mansion, Hilton, and the InterContinental Wonderland, and my kids ultimately told me they still want to stay at Le Méridien this year. Digging in the sand, playing in the water, the indoor pool, plus the playground – they never get tired of it. This time we even switched to a camping room, which made them even happier. They loved stargazing, playing in the tent, and we even got a full set of camping gear to use for free. We'll be back again next holiday!"
Jing'an Shangri-La, Shanghai
"The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Kerry Centre and just a few minutes' walk from Plaza 66. While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, they are still perfectly functional. The executive lounge privileges are a real highlight, allowing us to dine entirely within the hotel, which was very convenient with a child. We were also lucky enough to see a rainbow after the typhoon – good luck to everyone!"
Bellagio by MGM Shanghai on the Bund
"The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the staff are warm and attentive, and the room facilities are complete and comfortable. It's great value for money for accommodation and travel."
Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai
"The front desk staff were lovely and helped upgrade us to a river-view room. At night, we could enjoy the beautiful night view of the Huangpu River, and even lie in bed and watch the illuminated buildings after their lights were dimmed. In the morning, the sunlight on the river created a picturesque, oil-painting-like quality. The view was excellent, and the room's design leaned Western with warm color tones. Although the floral and bird paintings were printed and framed, the overall aesthetic had a strong sense of Chinese artistry. Simply put, it was a harmonious blend of East and West. The location was incredibly convenient, right next to the Pudong Art Museum and riverside restaurants, and very close to shopping malls and the subway station. Walking or cycling were both easy options. This hotel offers great value for money."
Mehood Elegant Hotel Shanghai Bund
"Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund | Prime Bund Location, Where Elegance Meets Modernity, An Exceedingly Perfect Experience ✨ For my trip to Shanghai, I chose the Hotel Indigo on the Bund, and the entire experience was absolutely fantastic, offering incredible value for money."
Crowne Plaza SHANGHAI NANJING ROAD by IHG
"I brought my child to Shanghai for a summer vacation and after looking at many options, I chose this hotel. The location is excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere, with major shopping malls right downstairs. It's very family-friendly for those traveling with children. For such a prime location on Shanghai's Nanjing Road, getting such a great room at this price is incredibly satisfying."
Amara Shanghai
"Nice hotel a bit higher in price, but worth it considering the neighboring hotel ratings. Check-in was easy. Though early, they held my bags and have dining inside or nearby. Walking distance within many stops like the outdoor mall, X Tower, and Green Jade Buddah. Lots of bikes or taxis available. Concierge and Housekeeping respectful. Bathroom amenities and views great. Comfortable bed. Breakfast nice and sufficient. Thanks for the Dragon Boat gift 🎁"
Gokurakuyu Hot Spring Hotel Shanghai Chuansha
"1️⃣ The 'Deluxe King Room' advertised on the platform is actually called a 'Japanese-style King Room' at the hotel and does not have a shower. The room is on the third floor, so guests need to go to the first floor to shower. 2️⃣ There's no elevator from the second to the third floor, so you have to carry your luggage up and down. 3️⃣ Coming and going is a hassle; you first need to get a wristband and store your shoes. When leaving, you have to go to the front desk to settle the wristband (even if you haven't made any purchases, you still have to settle it, or you can't leave). 4️⃣ I stayed for 4 nights, and no one told me that afternoon tea was included in the room rate. I only found out when I overheard them asking other guests if they wanted it delivered to their room during checkout. 5️⃣ The staff attitude was quite poor. There was a situation where I said 'hello' three times at the front desk, and no one even looked up! They also ignored guests' questions, just talking to themselves and repeating their own points (this was the morning shift front desk on the 11th). Some of the middle-aged cleaning aunties also spoke in a very uncomfortable way, like a family elder scolding you or interrogating you, which was very strange."
Donghu Collection Hotel
"This is my second time booking here, as someone from the suburbs, I'm playing city dweller for a few days. Part of me selfishly hopes fewer people discover this hidden gem of a hotel in such a prime location, but I also genuinely wish for it to thrive. What truly stands out is how polite the parking attendant is; he's one of the friendliest security guards I've ever encountered. My mood is always great from the moment I enter or leave the parking lot, and I hope the hotel gives them some recognition. The street opposite has recently been renovated and is now open for business, which has really enhanced the shopping experience around here. It's truly a comfortable stay. As Shanghainese say, '螺蛳壳里作道场' (making a grand show in a snail shell – meaning making the most of a small space), the room has everything you need. The only minor drawback is the limited storage space; it would be perfect if there were an additional small table/chair or a TV cabinet."
The Langham Shanghai Xintiandi
The Langham hotel near Xintiandi — Michelin-starred T'ang Court restaurant, an illuminated pool, and Chuan Spa.
Wassim R Hotel
"Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. The air conditioning was strong yet quiet, which allowed us to sleep really well. There are many shops nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. The front desk staff provided excellent and warm service. We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future."
Sheraton Shanghai Pudong Riverside
"The river view room is pretty good! But what I really want to rave about is this long sleep bed! It plays soothing music, has several different massage modes, and can even heat up. My personal favorite is the 'sleep mode' – it's super relaxing. The two-meter-wide bed was incredibly comfortable to sleep in. This massage bed is split into left and right sides, each with its own remote control, and you can also connect to a mini-program by scanning a QR code to control it."
Novotel Shanghai Clover
"I have to commend the hotel's butler service; no matter the time, they were always responsive to guest requests, even during the peak summer season, which was beyond my expectations. The hotel's shuttle service is also very convenient, covering Disneyland, The Bund, Hongqiao, and Pudong Airport. I also want to praise the crayfish at the hotel restaurant – they were delicious! Although the hotel is a bit old, its excellent service makes up for it. I stayed for three nights and highly recommend it!"
Mövenpick by Accor Shanghai People's Square
"The room was very clean and bright, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The hotel staff were patient and provided excellent service. Highly recommend! I'll definitely stay here again next time."
